THE SURF REPORT      FILED   FRIDAY   03/07/09  7:30 am
PERTH METRO      Watermans Bay to Cottesloe

WIND:  Light E.
WAVES:  Inconsistent knee to waist high the norm on the beach breaks very, very odd chest high set.
MARZ'S COMMENTS:  Small and inconsistent is the key word this morning, also cold. Not a lot on offer that is going to have you frothing with deep banks that are producing fat ones with shape. Could change a little mid morning with the incoming tide.
Support your local shaper, support your local surf shop.
Marzs Rating: 1.5 out of 10.

MANDURAH      Secret Harbour to The Cut

WIND:  Light SE.
WAVES:  Inconsistent knee to waist high waves the norm along the beach breaks odd chest high set.
MARZ'S COMMENTS: .  The waves that are on offer look like they need a few weeks at Jenny Craigs with fat looking walls coming thru along the beach breaks. Very inconsistent swell with not a lot of push. Could improve around mid morning with the tide. Water temp has dropped quite considerable.
Support your local shaper, support your local surf shop.
Marzs Rating: 1.5 out of 10.

MARGARET RIVER      Indji Carpark to Gas Bay

WIND:  Light NE.
WAVES:  Two to three feet the norm.
MARZ'S COMMENTS: Mainbreak providing some good ones albeit small by local standards. Small swell reefs and beachies are delivering the goods and are looking more than worthy.

Support your local shaper, support your local surf shop.
Marzs Rating: 4.5 out of 10.

Mad Marz.
REMEMBER THE ONLY THING YOU SHOULD LEAVE ON THE BEACH ARE YOUR FOOTPRINTS, RUBBISH GOES IN THE BIN.
